INIFD Delhi, MBA CLUB, the club of designers and managers, the club of Design Management students of INIFD. President (Ms. Pankti Khurana) ,Vice President (Ms. Geetika Tayal The INIFD DELHI MBA club is fashioned to ensure an overall development of the MBA students, and get them absorbed and in sync with the concepts of management not through books and projects, but practically, adding a hint of fun and excitement to the curriculum. All the members are provided with the subscription of marketing magazine “PITCH” and retail magazine “IMAGES RETAIL”, and are granted access to various reference books and sample question papers. We conduct time to time activities like group discussions on current market related topics such as Satyam Scandal, anticipated affects of recession and the scope of design management, to name a few and scheduled are GDs on schedule are even the landmark cinemas like the movie GURU, Chak De, Slumdog Millionaire.And not only that, Our members have also made visits to Trade Fair, Suraj Kund Mela and the movie “Fashion”. These tours and activities are decided unanimously by all the members of the club and not just by the institute or the president (Ms. Pankti Khurana) or Vice President (Ms. Geetika Tayal). Buddig managers follow a formal dress code for the club and also a community on the well-known social networking site ‘Orkut’, where they share our views and also post links for newsletters and other pages that any of the member finds beneficial for all of us. As a part of the course curriculum, we have conducted surveys and research of many renowned organizations like Shoppers Stop, Liliput, Durian, Catmoss, MORE, Guardian Life Care, Archies, Westgate Mall, TDI mall, Great India Place Mall etc for various projects and have had opportunity to meet an interview the Department heads of various organisations.
